Bookkeeper, Systems & Operation
We’re looking for someone who gets excited about learning new tools, solving problems, and building better ways of working with financial data.
What it’s like to work with us
“Working at CCE Consulting has given me a level of balance, flexibility, and trust I didn’t realize was possible in a workplace. I can fully show up for my work while also prioritizing my personal life and long-term goals, which has made a meaningful difference in how fulfilled and aligned I feel each day.
What's most unique about my experience here is how genuinely supported growth is — not just within the role, but beyond it. I feel encouraged to develop personally and explore long-term aspirations in an environment that values people as whole humans, not just employee. I feel incredibly proud to be a part of this collaborative, people-first team that truly roots for each other to thrive!”

“Working at CCE gives me the flexibility and trust to show up fully, both at work and in my life outside of it. Because I can plan my schedule in advance, I am able to prioritize my family, creative work, and my own business while staying closely connected to the team and contributing to shared company goals and deliverables.
What feels different about CCE is the balance between structure and autonomy, and how much real work-life balance is valued. I am accountable for my time and for contributing in meaningful ways that support the team, but I have real ownership over how my schedule comes together. That clarity and trust make it easier to stay engaged, do thoughtful work, and feel genuinely supported in this role.”

Bookkeeper,
Systems & Operations
About Us
CCE Consulting provides bookkeeping and consulting for small businesses, combining ongoing support, systems design, and hands-on client education.
We’re not a traditional bookkeeping firm — we’re problem solvers who like figuring things out, improving how things work, and making financial data actually useful.
Our work sits at the intersection of bookkeeping & accounting, system design, and real-world problem solving.
We build processes that actually work for our clients — not just clean books.
About the Role
This role is a blend of bookkeeping and systems work, not a repetitive data entry role.
You’ll build core bookkeeping fundamentals, while also developing a strong understanding of how tools, workflows, and financial data connect behind the scenes.
Each client file is different, and part of your role is learning how to: navigate variability, identify issues, and contribute to cleaner, more efficient systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
Recording and reviewing financial transactions
Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
Organizing and maintaining financial records
Supporting monthly bookkeeping workflows and reviews
Investigating discrepancies and flagging items for follow-up
Working across multiple tools and systems
Assisting with improving both internal and external processes and workflows
If you prefer work that is highly repetitive and environments where processes rarely change, this likely isn’t the right fit.
What We’re Looking For
Strong attention to detail
Clear and thoughtful communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Solid organizational skills
Interest in bookkeeping, accounting, and business operations
Willingness to learn and ask questions
Experience is helpful, but not required.
We care more about how you think than what you already know.
Tech & Systems Mindset (Important)
We are looking for someone who:
Is comfortable working on a Mac and navigating new software
Enjoys learning new tools, shortcuts, and more efficient ways of doing things
Is curious about automation, AI, and improving workflows
Can work through unfamiliar situations without getting stuck
Is not intimidated by evolving technology
This is a systems-driven role.
You’ll be working across multiple platforms, moving between tools, and picking up new workflows as you go. Things won’t always look the same twice — and if you enjoy figuring things out, that’s where this role gets fun.
